The family night where we carve pumpkins is always a favorite! The kids were super excited! This is how they turned out, sitting on the front porch.
While I was out there, taking pictures of the pumpkins, I thought I'd get a shot of the "bush monster" we have out front too.

He wasn't too excited about having to touch the goopy inside's, but he did a good job overcoming his fear, and cleaned out his pumpkin.
We gave Scott some crayons to entertain him while we carved the other pumpkins. He loved it! I later carved his, and he loved that too.
Here they are, planning out what the pumpkins will look like.

Cute! I love the bush monster!! How fun is that?! I bet the kids really got a kick out of that. And how smart of you to give Scott a crayon to keep him occupied. I should have thought of that when Jakey started playing with all the pumpkin goop. :)
