Happy 7th Birthday Joshua!

Josh is actually 7! I can hardly believe it! It was just yesturday that we brought him home on Christmas Eve. What a joy Joshua is! He is such a great boy. And he was born before we had a digital camera even. So some of these photos are scanned. And most of them are pre-blogging. So you will probably see some fun picts that you haven't ever seen. And I know that there are ALOT! But once I get started, it is hard to stop. I mean there are just so many great pictures of this kid! It is always so fun to look back at these pictures. And it is fun to see just how similar he still looks.
We Love Joshua! And I think he had a great birthday!


He is only just barely two years old here. He has been playing games as soon as he could! But it is no wonder...with his Dad loving games like he does. (Hours of fun!)


What a cutie in the snow!

These are scanned from the first scrapbook I made. We brought Joshua home on Christmas Eve, and at like 12:00 midnight we decided to change a new baby boys diaper ON OUR BED! That was obviously a mistake....(and those of you who have boys know why.) So we were up for a couple of hours waiting for our bedding to be washed and dried. Meanwhile, it became Christmas morning, so we just decided to start opening presents. That was our first Christmas with Josh! And it was perfect! We were so grateful for our most precious Christmas gift!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SCOTT! December 18th.
Our Scott boy is two! And we just love him so much!

It finally Snowed!

So I know that it is crazy , but I was so glad when it finally snowed. I actually hate the cold, and I'm not a real fan of the road conditions after it snows, but it is just so darn pretty! And it covers up all the dead and brown. I love seeing the mountains all covered, and I love that the kids can go out and play and have a fun time. I'm sure I wouldn't be as thrilled if I was like a pioneer that had to treck for miles in the stuff, but I'm not. I get to sit in my nice warm house and look out my window at what looks like a giant snow globe. And I just think it is fun! So "Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!" (And there needs to be snow on the ground for Christmas don't ya think?)

More barbie dressses!

This a picture of the other dresses I made. I think they turned out pretty good. And they are being modeled by the actual dolls that were mine, and that needed to be clothed. Check out the two in the middle. They are the smaller (teenage sister to Barbie) "Skipper." Do you remember those? Why don't they continue to make them? Anyway...I have two! And I had a lot of fun making the dresses.

Gingerbread (or Grahm Cracker) Houses!

I thought it would be fun to make it a tradition to make (and then be able to eat) gingerbread houses every year for Christmas. The kis had so much fun last year. So here we are....

What a fun day! The kids loved it! They especially loved being able to eat all the candy! It was a great day!

Here they all completed. Joshua's is pretty much desolate now though. He has eatin' his the fastest. But I must say it is fun to just walk by and pick off a candy or two.

The Tree.

This is a decoration my parents gave me in the hospital right after I had Josh (Because we brought him home on Christmas Eve.) It came with the caption, "And then there were three!" Super cute huh? Thanks Dad...I still love to see these snowmen, and think about our growing family! They also hold a special place in Joshua's heart. He got teary eyed over them the other day.

My new attempt at something new and unusual this year. These stars look pretty cool, I think.
