Summer Field Trip to the Tracy Aviary

We had lots of fun visiting the Tracy Aviary this year and seeing all the birds.  Plus Grandma and Grandpa Mortensen came with us.  The birds were so beautiful.

Kaitlyn even got to participate in the show.

We got the best seats for the Orem Fireworks this year.  We were right under them.  It was super cool.  What a nice night.

Up the Canyon

Oh, I love going up the canyon with family.  David and Missy came up for the weekend, so we went up and had some lunch.

We learned about PH, and even got to paint with Acids and Bases.  It was super fun!

Then we walked around their gardens.

 

The kids favorite part was the little houses they had there.  They were to display different ways to landscape around your yard.

We went to a fun resturaunt in Orem that serves different Crepe sandwiches.  They also have this big owl out in front.  The kids got a kick out of it.  And the food was yummy!

Grandma had the funnest activity for the kids.  She had them each a shovel, an apron, and a flower to plant.  They loved it.  It was a great afternoon activity!

I love this pic.  Brigham surounded by "little mommies" who all wanted to hold him.  Only most the time he had a big smile on his face!  He loved all the attention!

We went on a couple of Field Trips.  Here we are at the Pet Store.

The other place we visited was the BYU Dino Museum.  It was a lot of fun, and made even more fun because Adam became a very good guide.  He helped to make the kids really interested in the dinosaurs.  It was fun.

And of course, there was a lot of jumping on the trampoline.  The kids loved it when an uncle/dad got on there with them!

Lucy taught Brigham how to play with this toy.  It was so cute.  She showed him where to put the balls, and he caught on pretty quick.  She will be a great big sister to her own baby brother soon.

And what is a visit without video games?  Techmo Bowl anyone?  :)
