Packing and Moving!

How is it that I have any time to be blogging right now??? I dont' know, but I needed to take a break from all the boxing up, and packing, and moving, and cleaning......ect. And so I got on the internet to check everyone else's blogs, and for some reason got motivation to update my blog. Mostly, I've posted pictures, because I really don't have a ton of time to type. But I've been pretty quick about it, and I'm proud of myself for posting so much, in such a short amount of time. Now I've got to go to the store for the "Oh no, we are totally out of milk" run. Fun stuff! Hopefully we will be totally moved by Saturday! Exciting! I keep getting emotional whenever I think about it! I can't believe how blessed we are! I can't believe that I am finally a home-owner! I'll post pictures of the new house soon!

Teddy Bear Picnic Field Trip

For this last field trip, we had a Teddy Bear Picnic! And it was a lot of fun! We had activities, food, and the kids played on the park equipment! It turned out great!

We were so excited when we finally got the keys to our new house! The kids were able to see the inside for the first time! We had been driving by the outside, and they kept asking when they would be able to go inside, and finally the day came! They think that it is pretty neat! Now is the daunting task of moving! And after the move, it will be time for all the remodeling we want to do (like painting and carpet and stuff). But I love that I'm finally able to do whatever I want to my own house!!! No more renting!

Wheelbarrow Fun!

Grandpa has started giving the kids rides in his wheelbarrow! They LOVE it! They would do it for hours. But a couple times around the yard is good enough for Grandpa. But whenever he is willing, they will hop on, and have a lot of fun!

Cousins!

It was a lot of fun to have Adam and Christine and their kids visit! It was so great to see them, and let the kids have a chance to get to know one another better. I wish I would have pulled the camera out more though. I didn't get to many pictures of their visit. But here are some of the better ones. The kids had a lot of fun on Grandma's trampoline.

FLOUR!

Another post about how my one year old got into something! But this was easy to clean up, and he looked so cute! He was having so much fun taking the flour out of the bucket, and spreading it around on the floor! What a cutie! I just grabbed the camera, and then took him upstairs to the bath!

The Oquirrh Mountain Temple

We were able to attend the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House! It is a beautiful temple and a neat experience to be able to see it all. The kids loved it, especially Breanne...who wants to be like the beautiful princess's who are married there! We went with Adam, Christine, Chad, and all the kids! It was crazy at times, but we made it through. It was really neat to see all the people there volunteering, and I really felt the spirit! It has been neat that there have been these two temples dedicated this summer. We are truely blessed.

Field trip to: Nielson Grove Park

We had a really fun time at our field trip to Nielson Grove Park. The weather was perfect for the 2 hours that we were there! It is a really fun place to go! So if you haven't been already...go with your family!

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!!

I was hestitant to post about this earlier, because you never know what can happen...but it is official! We now are the proud owners of this fantastic home!!! We are so excited! It is a great house, in a GREAT location, and we got a great deal on it! I've just got some photo's that are off the internet. But after we are moved in, I will take some more, and post them, so you can see how great the inside is too! But check out that huge back yard! I can't wait to get some play stuff back there for the kids. And it already has a "pit" for a trampoline. So that will be fun for the kids, especially seeing how they wont be next door to Grandma and Grandpas trampoline any more. Maybe for Christmas or something, we will get one. Anyway, we are sad to be moving away from such a great ward, and being next door to Grandma and Grandpa, but we aren't going to far, and we feel like it will be a good move for us! We truley feel like the Lord has blessed us tremendously, and we couldn't be happier!

Joshua's first "Dance Day"

I'm not sure if this was dance day, or field day. I'm still kinda new to all this. But you all get the idea. It was a fun thing. The kindergartners did the "Hokey Pokey". And Josh did awesome! He did all the actions very big, and very well! Some of the other grades had really fun dances too. It was a fun thing to attend! Breanne came with me, but Jared stayed home with the boys. Breanne really liked all the dancing, and is looking forward to being able to do it herself. I loved that they held hands on the walk back to the car. I was lucky enough to get a shot of it, before they stopped! Siblings! These two are great!

The TEDDY BEAR Picnic!

Joshua's kindergarten did a Teddy Bear Picnic! It was so much fun! They did a whole ton of activities with their teddies, and then had lunch! I was lucky enough to be able to go and help! I read teddy bear stories to the kids. I wasn't able to get as many pictures as I would have liked to...due to me helping with reading and all, but I was able to catch a few. Joshua so loves his teddies (T.T., Max, and Brownie) that this day was very special for him! I knew that I just had to be there for this! It was a really great "end of the year" activity! I can't believe that Joshua is out of Kindergarten and going into first grade! In a lot of ways, I think this transition will be harder. Because he will be gone all day, and be having lunch there, and...well....you know what I mean. It is a crazy thing how time flies, especially when it comes to your children. Anyway, Josh and I loved this day!

The Family

These are some pictures that were taken at Jared's birthday party with my family. I just asked my mom to take a few shots. None of them really turned out great. It seemed like if one was great for someone, it wasn't for someone else. Oh well...such is life with kids. Maybe one of these days, I will drag everyone down to a professional place, and we will finally get a good one of the whole family. Someday!

But for now, these are cute.

Happy Birthday Jared!

Jared had a great birthday this year! He had a party with my family, with his, and with ours! So lot's of cake!!! I hope that he enjoyed all of them! Happy Birthday Jared!

Field trips!

Because we are not going to be going on a vacation this year, and because I haven't signed anyone up for anything....mostly because we are moving....I decided to put together a summer of field trips. Ya know...to give us something to do this summer. I thought it would be a good thing for my kids, but have opended it up, and invited whoever wants to come. We are meeting every Wednesday in the afternoon. And last week we went to the pet store. It was really fun! I think this will end up being a great way to have a fun summer!
