Breanne had another dance recital. I did take pictures of her up on the stage, but none of them turned out. (the lighting in there is horrible!) But These were pretty cute. I especially love the one with the flower headband! It turned out great!

Breanne loves to dance! She had a lot of fun being the center of attention that night! Thank you to all the family that came to support her! I know it meant a lot to her, but it also really meant a lot to me!! We love you Breanne!

Another trip up the canyon!

We went up the canyon a couple of Saturdays ago, when the weather was nice. I was feeling really cooped up in the house, and just couldn't let such a nice day go without getting out! So we went up the canyon and went on a little hike! The kids loved it! We really want to go back, but go a little further next time!

We also had fun climbing on these rock wall things at the park.

This was the "hike" trail. The kids had a blast taking on the challenge. It was pretty steep! And Jared pushed the stroller up the hill (with his bad knee!) But we didn't go too far.

The time has finally arrived!

We knew it was coming, but we weren't sure exactly when it would hit....but yes...
we are finally MOVING!!! We've been told by the lady who owns this home, that she wants to move back in August. So that means we have to be out in July. So bitter-sweet! Bitter...because that most likely means that we will be leaving the ward that we have been apart of for SEVEN YEARS! (I almost can't believe it.) Unless by some chance something works out within the ward boundries. But most likely, we will be moving away. Not too far away though...hopefully. We would like to stay in North Orem, Lindon, or possibly South Orem. But we will see. We are starting the house hunt, and who knows what will come of it. But that is the sweet part. Sweet...because that means I will finally be in a home of my own...that I can PAINT, or do whatever I want with!!! And we will be somewhere a little more permanent, and all that. But I will dearly miss this ward! I have really grown attatched, and we have felt so loved and wanted here. My mother and father in law are most upset. And we will probably miss them the most too. What a treat it has been to live so close to them. The kids were pretty upset when we told them that we wouldn't be living right next door to Grandma anymore. But that is how life is, and like the great wisdom we heard this past weekend during General Confrence...Change is part of life, and we need to find the bright sides to all of life changes. So I just pray that we will end up in a ward and a house that is right for us, and that our kids will be in a place where they can be surrounded by good influences and good friends. I'm sure everything will work out. It has so far! It has been wonderful to be here for so long. We moved into that little basement apartment with no kids, and thought that we would only be here for 1 year. After we had Breanne, we actually started renting another apartment, but that fell through, and we came back to the ward. And then when we were pregnant with our fourth, the one bedroom would no longer do, and we thought for sure that it was going to be time for us to leave, and then this house worked out, and we were able to stay two more years. So we will see what happens. Knowing our history, there is a good possiblity that we might stay. (And I know many of you who would hope for that.) But I will keep you updated!
The house search begins.....

The first Hair Cut!

It is a bitter-sweet day when you give your baby their first hair cut. I went ahead and trimmed Scotts tonight. It mostly just need the "mullet" just above his neck cut off. And I took a little off the top. His hair is so fine and so light, that I worried about cutting to much of it. He was very good, and it wasn't to difficult to cut. And I kept his little blondy hair, so that it can be put in the scrapbook! He is so cute, and the new hair cut makes him even older! It is amazing what a haircut does to make them age that much faster! My little guy is getting so big! That is why it is bitter-sweet: because it is really something they need, and they will look better after, but it also means that they are getting that much older, and that much further from being that tiny baby they once were! I can't believe he is old enough, and his hair was finally long enough to be giving him a hair cut!

The Fire Station!

The kids had a great time at the Fire Station! They got to see a cute movie about fire safety, see the big fire engine and some other resque vehicles, see where the firemen work, and what they wear. And they were even given their very own fire helmets, and these cool pencils that changed colors when heat is applied to them. It was a good field trip! The kids are learning good things about fire safety.

I've finally posted!

I realized that it has been a while since I posted anything! I've been looking at everyone else's blogs, but haven't found the time to post on my own! So now I have, but that is why there is so much that is new.

Also, I have enjoyed when people do a quick update of their family on their blogs, so I will do that on mine: We have been busy!

Joshua is doing well in school. He was thrilled when the XBox came back (it was broken so we had to send it away to get fixed.) What was so cute was that the day that it came...via UPS, he prayed for the UPS man and his truck to make it back to their workshop safely! He was so genuin, it was so cute! He just finished doing his little basket ball camp, which he loved. And he is loving that it is getting warmer here, so that he can play outside.

Breanne is doing well too. She loves school, and loves to play "school" at home too. She is a big help around the house, and with the other kids. She has fun playing with her friends and cousins. And is almost done with her dance class. She is also learning how to read and write, and is doing amazing! She is such a cutie!

Eli is repeating everything that Breanne says. They are playing a lot of "make believe" and often times, I hear him call Breanne "Dora" and he is called "Boots". He is getting big, and I think he will end up being a pretty big adult! He is saying all sorts of cute things, and it is so fun to listen to him pray. He LOVES chocolate milk! And it is so fun to see him and Scott play. I think they will be great friends. He wont start preschool for another year, but already his is learning to count, and his alphabet.

Scott is walking so well for a little guy his size. He has the cutest blondy hair, and everyone is always commenting on his beautiful blue eyes. He is talking too! And thanks to Caroline, his first word was "e-ll-o", but he also has started to say "dad" and "nanna" (bannana-which he says when ever he wants any kind of food). He is a good baby, and is doing a good job keeping up with our busy schedule, and all the running around mom has to do.

Jared is doing well. He hurt his knee, but it is getting better. He is watching the Jazz a lot this year, and is routing for them to do well. None of us did very well on our March maddness picks, but he still has fun with that anyway.

I am doing good too! I'm just so grateful for my health! I got sick a week and a half ago, and it was awful! And when mom is sick, everyone suffers! I was just so glad that it didn't last to long, and I was able to get the house back to working order in not to many days. I'm enjoying making bows and wish that I could find more time for scrapbooking and excersizing! But for now a lot of my time is being taken up with the kids and doing what they need, and running them around to all their things. I am also cleaning a lot! I think that if I could just constantly be cleaning (like NEVER stop) then my house would stay clean! But I can't do that, so it gets run down, and then I try to catch up. But the kids make a mess so quick! So oh well. This stage of life will pass to quickly, so I try not to stress (to much) about my house not always being perfectly clean! But life is good. I'm really grateful for everything that I have! Especially this wonderful family that I get to be a part of! What a wonderful thing to be a wife and mother! I'm thrilled with my decision!

Basket Ball

Joshua did a "Little Hoopsters" class at the rec center this month. We went for the game they played at the end. He had a lot of fun learning more about Basket Ball, and we are hoping to get a hoop so that he can get more practice, and get better.

Happy Birthday Kip!

Kip got a "fire pit" for his birthday this year, which has been a lot of fun! So for his birthday party, we had the yummiest ribs I've ever had, Salmon, and other goodies! Plus we got to have this beautiful fire! It was a great night!

A Trip Up The Canyon!

We braved the "not so wonderfully hot" weather and went ahead on the planned trip up the canyon! It wasn't too cold, and it was very fun to go up and make a fire, roast some hot dogs and marshmellows, and see the river! The kids love it when we go up the canyon, and Mom was really craving doing something outdoors and fun! So this was a fun "March" outing! Hopefully we will get up the canyon a lot this summer, and hopefully there will be a full on camping trip too....but we will see how that goes!

COUSINS!

These two babies are only 8 days apart! So it is super cute to see them together! Don't they look so cute standing there like that? I thought so, therefore, I grabbed the camera and luckily got a few good pictures before they (Scott and Talon) wandered off!

Star of the Week!

In Joshua's Kindergarten, they get to be a "Star of the Week". And they have to bring a poster, and do a little presentation about themselves. It was a lot of fun making a poster about Joshua! He is certainly a "Star" in our house! And we love him very much! Isn't he cute!

The Dinosour Museum!

We went to the Dinosour museum with Breanne's preschool! I always love to go because that means that it will be less money, and it is a really cool museum! Apparently it is the largest Dinosour museum in the world. That's what the billboard says anyway. It is big! And they have done a very good job with it. The kids love to go! They especially love the "errosion" exibit, where they can play in the water and sand. And the "digging" exibit, where they get to dig for dino bones. It was a great trip!
