We watched Stadium of Fire from the hills. So it was kinda small, but it was cool because we could see fireworks going off all over the valley.
Plus we got to see a beautiful sunset.
We went with Chad and Aoife.

Here's Jared, getting everything set up and ready. He loves putting on a show in our front yard every year. And he gets all the fireworks out and ready to go before it gets dark.

We let the kids do a couple of smoke bombs and snakes while waiting for everyone else to arrive, and for it to get dark.
Then it was time for the TANK WAR!!! This was pretty quick, but really fun! The kids loved it.
Looks like Breanne's tank "won." Gotta love a good tank war.
Then everyone came over, and the program could begin. We always start by singing the national anthem.
Good thing Chad brought this canopy because it started POURING on us. What a great idea! It made the night very enjoyable.
"Fireworks, in the rain... Just doin' Fireworks in the rain... What a glorious feeling, I'm happy again...."
