We had a great 4th of July! We got to go swimming at my mom and dad's. Then we went to a BBQ at a new neighbors house. And then we had a bunch of family come to our house for fireworks! (Jared loves to set of fireworks! That is his favorite part of the holiday!) We also sang the Star Spangle Banner, and read the constitution. It was pretty neat. Here are some pictures. It is hard to get great pictures during the night time when fireworks are going, but I did manage to get a few that turned out.

What a fun night for you guys! And that's such a good idea to read the consitution and sing. That can really help the kids understand the true meaning of the festivities.
