This was in the May 2011 Reader's Digest. An article by Melissa Fay Greene, which is apparently an excerpt from a book about her experiences adopting orphans from other countries, and trying to put together a family. But I loved this quote, no matter what your situation is:
"You each have the freedom to choose which mood to share with the family, which incidents you want to focus on, and what kind of person you want to be."
If I were the vinyl lettering kind of person. I might consider putting this somewhere. Maybe I'll just frame it, and put it up some day.
