Our "Q.T." trip to Arizona

The "Q.T." stands for "Quick Trip", which is the name of a gas station that is down in Arizona. It is fun because they have all kinds of Slurpee flavors, and you can get a 22 oz. for super cheap! So we tend to make a visit there at least once while we are visiting. That is why I thought it would be fun to title this post the way that I did.
Anyway. Jared had to go to Arizona for work, so we decided we would all just go along with him and make a visit out of it. It was so great to see everyone. The kids just love their cousins. Eli asks if he can go to Luke's house almost everyday. So they were thrilled when we told them we were going. And other than the fact that Eli threw up twice on the drive down, it was a great trip. We are grateful that we have such great family to stay with, and hang out with.

Sweet Hope watching over Baby Brigham.
Scott decided Hope was his new best friend. (Sorry Grandma. I'm sure you will quickly regain the title, but for a week, she was it!)

Our " Big Guy" Brigham.

Jared's brother, Adam is a seminary teacher. We got to visit his school and see where he works.

His classroom.

Megan. Isn't she darling!!!

Brigham...peeking through.
I just love this picture.

Cousins playing.

Luke and Josh, playing games.

We had an early Christmas, and had them open the presents we brought down. It was a lot of fun. I was glad we got to see them open our presents.

Sadie loved Baby Brigham. She was so cute with him. What a sweetie.

Cute kids.

One of our "traditions" is to bring a bag of Sweedish Fish. Everyone LOVES 'em!

Adam and Christine's family opening their Christmas presents.
We had a fun time staying with Adam and Christine. It is such a joy to be around their three sweet little girls. A good trip.

Happy

Our Scott Boy turns 3 on December 18th. But we like to have his family party early to avoid all the Christmas craziness. He is such a wonderful boy. And he had a really fun party. Thank you everyone!

Scott received lots of fun presents from all his family. This cute easel was one of them. All the kids thought it was pretty cool.

Here is his cake. At first he wanted a "pumpkin" cake. Luckily he decided white with sprinkles was good too.

The new camera!

I hope this doesn't come across boastful or something, but I just have to share in my excitement! I finally got a new camera! And I'm thrilled. It has image stabalization (which helps when you are trying to take pictures of wiggly kids), 14 mega pixles, 8x zoom, and more. And it was a pretty good deal at Costco. It was all I wanted for Christmas this year, and Santa delivered early! Whoot! Whoot!

We love Halloween!

Horray for Haloween! And Candy! Here are the kids enjoying this fun holiday!

The Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

The kids always love going to the pumpkin patch for the preschool field trip. Mostly because that means they get to pick another pumpkin. But it is always a fun fall tradition. And makes for some good photo oportunities!

Memory Loss

So I went down to the Health Department today to get my dTap booster today.... Only to find out that I already got one in June of 2008! The thing is that I HAVE NO MEMORY OF DOING THAT! Otherwise I wouldn't have trecked down there today. I didn't believe it, but the lady on the other side of the counter was like, "We wouldn't have all your info and the day of the shot, if it didn't happen!" I wonder how often they get crazy's like me in there questioning the validity of their computers information. You would think I would remember getting a shot, but nope. So I decided to trust that I got it, and took off. On the bright side... I didn't have to get a shot today. :)

Pumpkin Carving

What a fun tradition. The kids always have fun going to the store and picking out their pumpkins, and then carving them the following week. I actually grew two pumpkins this year. I was hoping to grow enough for everyone, but I'll take getting two good pumpkins...considering I just threw some seeds into the old trampoline pit. Anyway, here we are carving our jack-o-lanterns!
